FORMWORK CARPENTERKPI Labour Hire is currently recruiting skilled Formwork Carpenters to join our expanding team on ongoing projects throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria.
This is a excellent chance to lock in steady work on EBA rates alongside leading civil and infrastructure contractors, working across substations, terminal stations, data centres, bridges, pump stations and large-scale industrial projects.
In this position, you will be tasked with producing quality formwork while upholding the highest standards of safety, workmanship and teamwork.Key responsibilitiesErecting, setting out and stripping formwork in line with drawings and specificationsFormwork to walls, columns, slabs, decks, beams, footings and pitsAssembling and fixing formwork panels, metal props, soldiers, walers, brackets and clampsOperating with proprietary formwork systemsSetting out, levelling, plumbing and squaring formwork ahead of the pourSupporting concrete pouring, screeding and finishing activitiesStripping, cleaning, repairing and stacking formwork ready for reuseCarrying out steel fixing, conduit laying and pipe laying tasks as neededReading and interpreting drawings, plans and specificationsCompleting work safely,



on schedule and to a high standard of qualityAdhering to site safety procedures and company policiesWorking cooperatively with supervisors, operators and construction crewsWhat we're looking forTrade-qualified Carpenter with relevant qualifications, or proven formwork experienceAt least 2 years' experience across formwork, carpentry or civil constructionProven ability assembling and fixing formwork systemsStrong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detailExcellent communication and teamwork skillsCapable of sustained physically demanding manual workCurrent Construction Induction (White Card)Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and best practicePrepared to work across a range of project sites throughout VictoriaExperience with proprietary formwork systems will be well regardedBackground in steel fixing, conduit laying or pipe laying is a plusPrevious work on substations, terminal stations or data centre projects is well regardedVESI training and plant equipment tickets are a plusPrepared to complete a Medical and Police CheckWhat we offerEBA rates aligned to your classificationContinuous work across a rolling pipeline of major projectsDiverse work with leading civil and infrastructure contractorsSite allowances and travel where applicable
