Responsible for the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders and the dispatching of goods.
The incumbent will possess a range of pharmaceutical warehousing skills and be expected to carry out a variety of tasks supporting pharmaceutical warehousing without direct supervision when applying these skills.
The incumbent will be expected to perform to LINK standards in all accredited skill areas and to have a detailed understanding of the processes which drive those aspects of the pharmaceutical warehousing in which he or she is accredited.Key ResponsibilitiesHandling MaterialsReceive goods and process appropriate receiptsProcess goods returned for creditPick and package goods for despatchConvert all orders to pick slips and processMaintain up to date records for all despatched goodsAssemble urgent orders as requiredAssemble all orders in a timely mannerMaintain integrity of stock and perform stock rotationInventoryEstablish systems to facilitate handling of inventoryIncrease efficiencies through implementation of best work practicesEnsure all stock transactions are accurately recordedWarehouse Maintenance and ComplianceEnsure all GDP requirements are within governmental regulation guidelinesAdhere to all safety instructions and workplace proceduresReport any identified hazards / accidents or incidentsMaintain up to date First Aid qualificationsEnsure warehouse is maintained in good order and conditionAdministrationEnsure filing and documentation is up-to-date and is compliant with standard processes and formatsComplete required reports within designated timeframes (e.g. expenses,
