What you'll be working on?
The role focuses on manual testing of C#/.
NET applications deployed in AWS, Testing in both back-end C# server and UI JavaScript environments.Primary database engines you will be working on is SQL Server and writing complex queries to be used for data validation & troubleshootingTest planning and design, including test data and environment requirementsCreating and maintaining test plans and test scripts, ensuring proper test coverage for all functional requirementsPreparing and managing test dataExecuting test scripts, recording and analysing results for variance against expected outcomesLogging and tracking identified defects & monitoring them through resolutionAnalysing defects to identify what is causing themProviding feedback to the development teamPreparing regular test status & test completion reports for progress trackingDevelop testing schedules to optimise the availability of testing resourcesPerform usability testing for system performance, reliability, scalability, and securityProvides internal quality assuranceWhat will help you be successful?
Must have 5+ years of experience as a QA Manual Test Engineer on medium to large IT projects (within financial services)Strong manual testing experience, ideally within financial servicesExperience with Jira, Git, and API testingTesting experience across backend services and web-based UI JavaScriptTesting within an AWS cloud architectureAbility to work in a fast-paced Agile/frequent releases workplace and adapt to significant amounts of change in work assignmentKnowledge of primary database engines (SQL Server) with a demonstrated ability to write complex queries to be used for data validation & troubleshootingHigh standard of attention to detail and tenacityConfidence working in Agile, fast-release environmentsDesirable:Automation testing with JavaScript like toolsISTQB Certified TesterKnowledge of financial trading instruments (Shares/FX/Options/Derivatives)Comfortable working in both an unstructured (ambiguity) and a highly st
