As an Banquet Server, you will play a key role in providing seamless service for events held at Farmstead.
This is an exciting chance to work in a beautiful setting with a team that values professionalism, hospitality, and excellence.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSet up event space according to event specificationSet up and break down tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and décor according to event specificationsServe food and beverages efficiently and professionally, adhering to hospitality and safety standardsProvide attentive, knowledgeable, and gracious service to guests throughout each eventCollaborate with the kitchen and event management teams to ensure timely and coordinated serviceMaintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after eventsAdhere to safety and sanitation guidelinesEducation, Experience and Required SkillsPrior experience in catering, banquet, or restaurant service requiredA passion for food, wine,



and hospitalityFood Handler's certification and RBS certification requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and work well under pressureStrong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guest needsPositive attitude and a team-oriented mindsetMust be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by event scheduleMust be at least 18 years of agePhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentAbility to stand and walk for long periods of timeAbility to remain calm under pressure and deal with unexpected situationsMust be able to lift, balance, and carry plates of foodMust be able to lift cases of wine on a daily basisMust be able to use both hands to handle, grasp, move and control objects, tools and equipment operationsMust be able to bend or twist bodyMust be able to lift and/or move up to 40 poundsMust be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlCompensation and BenefitsPart-time hourly positionCompensation: $28 per hourRetirement Savings (401k) includes generous company matchingWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
