The role:
As Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with Lady Gowrie Tasmania's Service Managers, Regional Managers and other stakeholders to provide clear financial insights, analysis and practical advice that support informed decision-making.
You will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, reporting and workforce planning, while building financial capability and identifying opportunities to improve financial processes.
Through your financial expertise and collaborative approach, you will support the delivery of quality, financially sustainable services for children, families and communities across Tasmania.

About You
You will be a commercially minded finance professional who is confident, approachable and solutions-focused, with a genuine ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
You will be proactive and adaptable, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery and manage competing priorities effectively.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated within environments with multiple stakeholders with non-finance backgrounds
Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities to meet agreed timeframes
High level of financial and business acumen
Proven ability to work independently and apply initiative




Exceptional attention to detail
3 – 5 years of relevant experience
Bachelor Degree of Business (or similar)
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and financial modelling experience
Current Tasmanian Registration Working with Vulnerable People and a National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
Full Class C Drivers Licence
Willingness to travel to support Education and Care Services
Experience working with Microsoft Business Central and Power BI (desirable but not essential)
