EnerMech is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced
Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I;) Technicians
for upcoming maintenance, shutdown and turnaround projects across major industrial sites in the Gladstone region.
As a global provider of integrated maintenance, engineering and project services, EnerMech supports some of Australia's leading resources, energy and industrial operations.
With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, we are looking to connect with skilled E&I; professionals who are committed to safety, quality and teamwork.
About the Opportunities
Successful candidates may be engaged in a variety of activities, including:
Preventative and corrective maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems
Calibration, testing and commissioning of field instruments
Fault finding and troubleshooting of control systems and instrumentation equipment
Shutdown and turnaround execution
Loop checks and functional testing
Maintenance of transmitters, analyzers, valves and associated instrumentation
Supporting plant reliability and operational performance
Adhering to site safety and quality procedures
Requirements
To Be Successful, You Will Have
Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control or Electrical/Instrumentation Trade Qualification
Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence (where applicable)
Current LVR/CPR certification
White Card (Construction Induction)
Previous experience in heavy industry, LNG, mining, power generation, manufacturing, chemical processing or similar environments
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement
Ability to pass pre-employment medicals and drug & alcohol screening
Highly Regarded
Certificate IV in Electrical – Instrumentation
Experience with plant shutdowns and brownfield maintenance
Hazardous Area (EEHA) qualifications
Working at Heights
Confined Space Entry
Gas Testing qualifications
PLC, DCS or SCADA system exposure
Current Driver's Licence
