Senior Project Engineer
Bielby is experiencing a period of sustained growth,
supported by a strong pipeline of infrastructure projects and continued
expansion into new regions.
Building on over 40 years of successful major
project delivery, we are seeking an accomplished
Senior Project Engineer
to join our NSW team.
Initially based within our Precontracts function, this role
offers the opportunity to play a key role in securing major infrastructure
projects across New South Wales while developing the technical and delivery
strategies that underpin successful tenders.
Working closely with Project
Directors, Engineering Managers and Estimating teams, you will help shape
methodologies, construction staging, temporary works solutions, resource
planning and project execution strategies for major civil infrastructure
opportunities.
Following successful project award, you will transition into
a project-based
Senior Project Engineer
role, becoming an integral
member of the delivery team on either metropolitan or regional infrastructure
projects valued at $300M and beyond.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong
Senior Project Engineer
who wants exposure to both project pursuits and project
delivery while building a long-term career with a growing contractor.
What You'll Do
Support
major infrastructure tenders by providing engineering, constructability
and methodology expertise.
Develop
construction methodologies, staging plans and project delivery solutions.
Assist
with temporary works planning, site logistics and construction sequencing
activities.
Review
design documentation and identify technical risks, opportunities and
delivery challenges.
Collaborate
with estimating, commercial and engineering teams during tender
development.
Contribute
to tender workshops,



risk reviews and value engineering initiatives.
Support
client presentations and tender submissions where required.
Assist
in developing project programmes and delivery strategies.
Transition
into project delivery following project award.
Provide
engineering leadership and support during construction while driving
safety, quality and programme outcomes.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's
Degree in Civil Engineering.
8+
years' experience delivering major civil infrastructure projects.
Experience
working on road, bridge, transport or major infrastructure projects.
Strong
understanding of Design & Construct project environments.
Experience
developing methodologies, construction staging plans and delivery
solutions.
Strong
technical knowledge across civil construction and project engineering
disciplines.
Excellent
planning, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability
to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.
Strong
communication and stakeholder engagement capability.
A
proactive attitude and desire to grow into future project leadership
opportunities.
