Support the effective delivery of Duratec's ICT project portfolio
Provide portfolio level oversight of ICT initiatives
Be responsible for providing alignment, delivery assurance, and executive insight across multiple concurrent initiatives, while also directly leading selected high impact programs or projects.
Portfolio governance and investment decisions are made by the Portfolio Steering Committee, with the Program Manager enabling informed decision making by strengthening delivery discipline and financial visibility and ensuring Project Managers remain accountable for day‐to‐day execution while portfolio priorities, risks, and outcomes are clearly articulated and managed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide portfolio level oversight of ICT initiatives to ensure alignment with business strategy, agreed priorities, delivery capacity, and funding constraints
Deliver consolidated portfolio reporting covering delivery status, risks, dependencies, financial position, and advantages
Enable effective Portfolio and Project Steering Committees by supporting governance cadence, decision forums, reporting standards, and clear escalation pathways
Ensure projects operate in accordance with ICT governance, change management, security, and quality standards
Directly lead and deliver selected major, high impact ICT initiatives as assigned
Provide delivery assurance across concurrent projects through regular review of plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and cross project impacts
Lead and develop ICT delivery capability by supporting Project Manager, Business Analyst and Trainer roles through regular check‐ins, mentoring,
and uplift of delivery discipline and consistency

ABOUT YOU
Qualification
Degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Formal program or project management certification (PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, PgMP, Agile or similar) – desirable
Working Experience
Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in ICT project and/or program delivery roles.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent ICT initiatives.
Strong understanding of enterprise systems, integrations, security, and governance.
Experience in the construction, engineering, or industrial services sectors – desirable.
Experience delivering ERP, HRIS, HSEQ, or enterprise application platforms – desirable.
Skills/Knowledge
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive level reporting.
Strong ability to provide portfolio level insight, including synthesising complex delivery, financial, and risk information into clear executive ready views.
Demonstrated capability in portfolio prioritisation, dependency management, and balancing competing business demands against delivery capacity.
Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budget oversight, forecasting,
and vendor performance management across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Ability to operate effectively within governance and decision-making forums, supporting evidence-based investment and delivery decisions.
