We're looking for an experienced Optical Dispenser or retail sales professional to join our Eastgardens team in a full-time role.
For someone looking to take the next step in their retail or optical career, there is potential to progress into an Assistant Manager role based on performance and business needs.
You'll work closely with our Optometrists and retail team to provide personalised eyewear styling and eye care support, helping every customer find frames and lenses that suit their prescription, lifestyle and personal style.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide outstanding customer service and personalised eyewear styling advice
Dispense lenses and frames based on prescriptions provided by our Optometrists
Build genuine, long-term relationships with our patients and customers
Support the day-to-day operation of the store, including opening and closing procedures
Work collaboratively with your team to deliver a excellent customer experience and achieve store goals
Continue developing your optical, retail and leadership capabilities
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
1+ years' experience in the optical industry, or 2+ years' retail sales experience
Previous experience with store opening and closing responsibilities
Strong attention to detail and basic mathematical skills
Confident, proactive and clear communication skills
The ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
A genuine interest in developing their skills and taking on greater responsibility
A positive and customer-focused approach
