About the Role
Provide high-quality child and family health nursing services across a range of community and healthcare settings within Darling Downs Health.
You will deliver evidence-based, family-centred care focused on health promotion, developmental assessment, immunisation, early intervention, and supporting positive health outcomes for children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive child and family health assessments
Provide childhood and adolescent immunisations in accordance with the National Immunisation Program
Monitor infant and child growth, development, and wellbeing
Deliver health education and parenting support to families and carers
Identify and respond to developmental concerns and child health issues
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams,



including medical, allied health, and community service providers
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Support health promotion, early intervention, and preventative health programs
Contribute to community outreach and child health initiatives
Promote safe, evidence-based, family-centred care

What You'll Need
Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated experience as a Clinical Nurse in Child Health, Community Child Health, or Family Health Services
Current recognised Immunisation Certification
Experience conducting child health and developmental assessments
Strong health promotion, education, and family engagement skills
Ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams
Australian working rights (non-sponsorship position due to contract timeframe)
