About the Role
We are seeking applications from experienced Registered Nurses to join our Nursing Support Unit (NSU).
This role offers the stability of permanent hours, diverse working locations and an electronic roster that advises your shift locations.
NSU staff are required to work across all Directorates; Acute, Sub Acute and Care Communities to fill staffing shortfalls and unplanned high activity demands.
This role operates on a 24/7 roster, requiring employees to work across all shifts: AM, PM, and Night Duty.
To be eligible for this role, you will have a minimum of 12 months experience, including acute experience.

To be considered for this role you must be living in the Ballarat region.

Be able to provide a minimum of 2 referees: 1 being your current direct manager and the other(s) an additional manager or supervisor
Key Responsibilities
Caring for a diverse range of patients and residents in varied care settings
Ability and willingness to provide high quality, direct care within scope of practice
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive, patient focussed outcomes
Documentation and updating of care plans / patient records
Provide accurate and timely communication with residents, visitors and staff at all levels within Grampians Health
Ability to function within a team
Participate in annual performance reviews
Commitment to ongoing mandatory education
Skills & Experience
Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse
Recent Acute experience
Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and hold a current Practicing Certificate
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills, commensurate with experience

The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $***** - $***** per hour.
