About the role
DCC is looking for an Administration Assistant that forms part
of the Administrative Operations Team (AOT) on a 12 month fixed
term contract.
This role fills a critical administrative role
which supports Davies Collison Cave leading Patent and Trade Mark
Practices across Australia and Asia, reporting to the Operations
Manager.
The role requires a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and
service delivery, with a consistent commitment to maintaining high
service standards for Principals,
operators, and internal
stakeholders.
You will be part of a busy, friendly team
working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
This is an in office role, 9am-5pm, five days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Administration Assistant
Learn and understand the in-house processing systems for
incoming electronic transmissions and physical related
correspondence
Read, process and distribute incoming electronic
correspondence received to the DCC central email address
Process incoming electronic and physical correspondence for
scanning and filing into the DCC Document Management
System
Participate in the accurate filing and storage of physical
correspondence
Participate in the processing of incoming physical
correspondence – reading, sorting, distribution and
delivery
Participate in the team by providing assistance with other
general duties in the Administration Assistant Team
Develop and maintain a high level of customer service to
DCC Principals, Attorneys and internal staff at all times
Operational Support
Prepare tax invoices in accordance with firm
processes.
Provide administrative and operational support to the Trade
Mark Operations group as required.
Assist other AOT functions where needed, as directed by the
AOT Trade Mark Coordinator & Operations Manager.
About You
Exposure to administration, data entry and document
management systems
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage
competing priorities and meet critical processing
requirements.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to data
accuracy.
Well-developed written and verbal communication
skills.
Strong customer service mindset with a professional and
responsive approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office:
Outlook
Word
Excel
Inprotech and iManage experience is an advantage
Understanding of data quality control processes.
Reliable and detail-oriented
Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
Proactive and adaptable
Skilled and service-focused
