Responsibilities:
Greet guests and seat them at appropriate tables
Take orders for food and drinks and relay them to the kitchen or bar
Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations
Serve food and drinks to guests
Operate the point-of-sale system to process orders and payments
Clean tables and reset them for guests
Handle complaints and resolve issues related to food, service, or ambiance
Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items and specials
Qualifications:
At least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Strong customer service skills
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and tip calculations
