Professional Search Group (PSG) is currently looking for an experienced
Python Developer
to help design, build, and scale the services that power its AI-driven video analytics platform.
Working closely with AI and machine learning teams, you'll play a key role in architecting production systems, deploying ML models, and driving technical excellence across the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python
Own architectural decisions around performance, reliability, and scalability
Develop and optimise PostgreSQL/MySQL databases
Deploy and operate containerised services using Docker
Work alongside AI engineers to productionise machine learning models
Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
What We're Looking For




5 years' backend software engineering experience
Solid Python development skills
Experience designing and operating production systems
Strong database knowledge (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Experience with Docker and containerised environments
Exposure to deploying ML models into production
Collaborative mindset with strong mentoring capabilities
