Job Description:
We are currently seeking
Registered Midwives
to join us in a
permanent full or part-time capacity for night duty positions
on our
postnatal floor
.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our
dynamic Maternity Services team
and provide compassionate care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Midwife, you will be responsible for planning and delivering midwifery care to women and their babies within a multidisciplinary team.
You will make decisions regarding patient care and assess, plan, implement, and evaluate that care while working closely with other health professionals.
We are looking for midwives who are committed to
constant professional development
and are eager to work with the latest research and within the best practices.

REQUIRED SHIFTS & WORKING HOURS:
Night Shift ***********:
10-hour shifts
ABOUT YOU:
As a Registered Midwife, you will have:
Authority to practice
as a Registered Midwife with
AHPRA
and current registration
A minimum of
2 years' experience
(not including a post graduate year) in midwifery.
A
strong commitment
to providing excellent clinical care.
A dedication to
patient-focused care
and working as part of a team.
Excellent
interpersonal skills
and effective problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with a
multidisciplinary team
.
A
strong work ethic
and the ability to work under pressure.

REQUIREMENTS:
Criminal record and/or child protection checks will be conducted and will form part of the selection criteria for this role.
