Join us as a Youth Events Officer and play a key role in
creating engaging, inclusive and meaningful experiences for young
people aged *****.
Based at our HQ in Leederville, you'll help plan
and deliver a diverse range of music, arts, recreation and
community events that connect young people and create positive
opportunities for participation and engagement.
We're seeking an
enthusiastic Youth Events Officer to join us a fixed term part time
contract till
July ****
with the possibility of
extension.
Your Perks
You'll be earning $91,065 - $97,987 per annum + 12% super
(pro rata)
Salary packaging up to $18,550 per annum.

What you'll be doing
As a Youth Events Officer, you'll lead the planning
and delivery of music and community events, managing bookings,
liaising with artists, bands and industry partners, coordinating
event logistics, promotion and staff rosters.
You'll also oversee
the GigSpace HQ in Leederville and ensure events are delivered
safely and effectively.
Alongside this, you'll mentor young people,
helping them build event management skills and ensuring their ideas
and voices shape the events and activities delivered.
You'll be great in this role if you...
Have experience creating,
coordinating and delivering
youth-focused events
Have a relevant qualification in events management or music
or a related discipline.
Are confident engaging and communicating with young people,
community stakeholders and industry partners
Have excellent organisation, time management, communication
and interpersonal skills
Are comfortable working outside normal hours, including
evenings and weekends
Hold a current C Class Driver's Licence and National Police
Clearance, with a current/ willing to obtain Working with
Children Check required.
