ABOUT US
The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities.
We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better.
It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference.
From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.
Graceville Women's Refuge is one of 39 homelessness services The Salvation Army operates specifically for women and children escaping violence.
More than 200 women have found safety and new beginnings at Graceville Women's Refuge this year.
The journey Graceville takes with them, helps clients to see a different future filled with hope.
As a Boutique Assistant, you are key in helping our women and their children in their journeys, restoring hope and dignity by building their clothing collection.
Two hours each week is all it takes to ensure we have the most suitable stock readily available, making a practical and positive impact on these women's lives.
Our philosophy is that every person deserves dignity, respect, and quality of service, and that everyone deserves a life free from family and domestic violence and to feel safe in their own home.
