Role,
Your
Responsibilities
Will
Be:
Achieve
and
exceed
assigned
sales
and
bookings
targets
across
the
territory.
Develop
and
maintain
strong
relationships
with
existing
customers
while
identifying
and
pursuing
new
business
opportunities.
Engage
directly
with
customers
through
regular
site
visits,
meetings,
phone
conversations,
and
email
communications.
Understand
customer
operational
challenges
and
recommend
appropriate
products,
services,
and
solutions.
Provide
technical
and
commercial
support
relating
to
Emerson's
isolation
valve
portfolio.
Collaborate
with
proposal
and
engineering
teams
to
support
quotations
and
project
opportunities.
Coordinate
and
deliver
customer
presentations,
product
demonstrations,
training
sessions,
and
promotional
events.
Implement
regional
sales
and
marketing
strategies
aligned
with
business
objectives.
Maintain
accurate
sales
activity,
forecasting,
and
customer
information
within
CRM
systems.
Monitor
market
developments,
industry
trends,
customer
needs,
and
competitor
activity
to
identify
growth
opportunities.
Demonstrate
a
strong
commitment
to
health,
safety,
and
environmental
standards
in
all
activities.

Qualification
in
engineering,
science,
business,
a
trade
discipline,
or
equivalent
relevant
experience.
Experience
in
a
sales,
account
management,
business
development,
or
customer-facing
commercial
role.
Ability
to
build
and
maintain
strong
customer
relationships.
Strong
communication,
presentation,
negotiation,
and
influencing
skills.
Commercial
awareness
and
an
understanding
of
business
drivers.
Ability
to
manage
multiple
priorities
and
work
independently
across
a
territory.
Proficiency
with
CRM
systems
and
sales
reporting
tools.
Commitment
to
safe
work
practices
and
health,
safety,
and
environmental
requirements.
Willingness
to
travel
within
Gladstone
and
the
broader
Queensland
region
as
required.
Preferred
Qualifications
That
Set
You
Apart:
Experience
within
mining,
resources,
process
industries,
water,
power,
or
industrial
manufacturing
sectors.
Knowledge
of
valves,
flow
control
equipment,
industrial
automation,
or
related
engineered
products.
Experience
in
sales
forecasting,
budgeting,
and
financial
reporting.
Experience
collaborating
with
engineering,
project
delivery,
or
technical
support
teams.
Understanding
of
customer
maintenance,
reliability,
and
operational
improvement
requirements.
