At our
Western Haematology and Oncology Clinics (WHOC)
in West Perth, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a permanent part-time position,
0.8 FTE (30 hours per week), working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
during normal business hours.

Reporting to the Nursing Unit Manager, you will become an integral part of our experienced and supportive nursing team, delivering high-quality, personalised care to patients receiving oncology treatment.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based, comprehensive oncology nursing care.
Practice in accordance with state-based Health Legislation and ACQSHC National Standards.
Provide holistic nursing care, high-level patient assessments, and referrals for optimal patient outcomes.
Contribute to quality improvements and collaborate with the Quality and Clinical Governance team to ensure best practices.
Conduct nursing observations and administer medications in line with policies and procedures.
Collaborate with Oncologists and the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications and Skills
Current and unrestricted registration and experience as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Experience administering Cytotoxic chemotherapy and related cancer treatments, including ADAC chemotherapy competency.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy for patients and their caregivers.
Strong clinical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective care planning and coordination skills.
Dedication to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Desirable:
Competency in CVAD management, IV Cannulation, and Phlebotomy
Experience in Clinical Trials
