About the role:

Join the team at Naturaliste Community Centre and help
provide a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment where local
families can thrive while enjoying our fitness and recreation
facilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a caring, energetic and
customer-focused individual to contribute to a valued community
service while being part of a supportive and positive team.
You will be required to be available on Wednesdays and Thursdays
between the hours of 8:45am and 10:45am.
Additional hours may be
available during staff leave across Naturaliste Community Centre
and also the Geographe Leisure Centre.
What you'll be doing:
Supervising and caring for children in a secure and nurturing
environment
Delivering fun, interactive and stimulating activities for
children of various ages
Building positive relationships with parents and responding
to enquiries professionally
Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming crèche
environment
Following and implementing crèche policies, procedures and




safety requirements
Recording incidents, accidents and required
documentation
Contributing ideas to enhance programs and improve service
delivery
As the successful applicant you will be able to
demonstrate the following:
Experience working with children and the ability to engage
positively with all ages
Strong customer service and communication skills
The ability to follow procedures, work collaboratively and
take direction effectively
Pre-employment requirements:
A current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain
one)
A current National Police Clearance (or ability to
obtain)
A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Proof of right to work in Australia
