Construction Planner
with demonstrated capability across
NPI works, earthworks and commercial construction
to join our team.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity based in Perth or Bunbury, offering the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of complex and high-quality projects within a supportive and driven team.
About the Role
As a
Planner
, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our large-scale commercial and mining infrastructure projects by developing, maintaining, and optimising project schedules from inception to completion.
Working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, Engineers, and external stakeholders, you will ensure that all phases of the project are accurately planned, resources are effectively allocated, and project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Developing, updating, and managing detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning software.
Coordinating with project and site teams to gather schedule input, validate durations, and align sequences of work.
Preparing and maintaining baseline schedules and integrating subcontractor and supplier schedules into the master program.
Preparing progress and forecast reports for internal and external stakeholders, including visual dashboards, S-curves, and key metrics.
Collaborating with the commercial and contracts teams to link schedule impacts with cost and contractual obligations.
Ensuring schedule compliance with contractual requirements, industry standards, and client reporting protocols.
Maintaining organised planning records, including updates, approvals, and change logs.
Contributing to project budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate time-based resourcing data.
Skills & Experience
3–5 years' experience as a
Construction Planner / Scheduler
with direct involvement in
construction-phase planning
on large
commercial and NPI
construction projects.
Proven experience developing
detailed construction programs
across multiple phases, including early works, bulk earthworks, civil packages and structural/building scopes.
Strong capability with
Primavera P6
planning and scheduling software.
Demonstrated experience integrating
subcontractor construction schedules
, managing multiple workfronts, and maintaining live, progress-driven programs.
Ability to interpret
engineering and construction drawings
, scopes of work and contractual requirements to inform realistic and buildable schedules.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide
practical, construction-focused, data-driven
recommendations.
Solid understanding of
project controls
, earned value management and schedule risk analysis within a construction delivery environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with
site-based and office-based teams
, including Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors.
