An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join a growing consultancy delivering commercial and contractual services across some of Australia's largest infrastructure, construction and engineering projects.
Working alongside an experienced team of commercial professionals, you will play a key role in providing contract administration, procurement support and commercial advice across complex, high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the administration of head contracts and subcontract agreements.
- Provide commercial and contractual guidance to project stakeholders.
- Assess and negotiate variations, progress claims and extensions of time.
- Support procurement and subcontract engagement activities.
- Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
- Prepare commercial reports, forecasts and project cost updates.
- Maintain change management processes and contractual documentation.
- Assist project teams in achieving strong commercial outcomes.
About You
- 8+ years' experience in contract administration, commercial management or quantity surveying.
- Solid understanding of construction contracts and contract interpretation.
- Demonstrated experience managing claims, variations and EOTs.
- Exposure to major infrastructure, civil, building, resources or engineering projects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
