Our client is a growing mid-sized litigation law firm with a robust reputation in compensation and plaintiff litigation. Driven by a genuine commitment to their clients and achieving the best possible outcomes, they are highly regarded for their expertise, supportive culture and meaningful work.
Due to the commencement of a significant new class action, they are now seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join their specialist team.
About the role
This is a once in a career opportunity to become deeply involved in a single large-scale class action from its early stages and see the matter develop through its various phases.
Working closely with a Managing Principal, Special Counsel and Associate, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day conduct and progression of the matter.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing court documents, affidavits and other litigation material
- Managing and progressing aspects of the class action
- Analysing evidence and assisting with case strategy
- Managing high volumes of information and documentation
- Working collaboratively with lawyers, support staff and other professionals involved in the matter
About you
You will be an experienced litigation lawyer at Associate or Senior Associate level, ideally with previous exposure to personal injury, class actions &/or complex litigation.
You will also:
- Have strong litigation skills and the ability to confidently manage complex work
- Be highly organised and comfortable working across a large-scale matter involving significant volumes of information
- Produce work of an excellent standard with strong attention to detail
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a close-knit specialist team
- Be able to work autonomously and take ownership of your responsibilities
