Turf & Horticulture Leading Hands & Maintenance Supervisor - South of River & Cambridge Projects

We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor and 3x Leading Hands for our client who has recently been awarded 2 more contracts and as a result, is looking to increase their staff. These will see you working across various projects South of the River, with new works also commencing in Cambridge (you will be placed as close to home as possible!).

Location: Majority South of the River, with new works in Cambridge
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3 PM (with possible weekend work if required)
Anticipated Start: October 2026 (ideally onboarding prior to commencement)

Positions Available:

- 1x Maintenance Supervisor - overseeing a team of approx. 15 staff members & paying between $45/Hr - $50/Hr pending experience
- 2x Horticulture Leading Hands - overseeing 1-2 offsiders & paying approx.. $40/Hr
- 1x Turf Leading Hand - overseeing 1-2 offsiders & paying approx.. $40/Hr

The roles will be responsible for overseeing and supporting ongoing maintenance works across a range of projects. Candidates with strong maintenance, turf, horticulture, landscaping or team leadership experience are highly desirable.

Once these key Supervisory and Leading Hand positions have been filled, there is a strong likelihood that additional staff will also be required as the new contracts commence.

Job Duties:

- Supervising and coordinating ongoing maintenance works across various projects.




- Leading and supporting turf and horticulture teams to ensure works are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Assisting with the day-to-day management and coordination of teams.
- Providing guidance and direction to team members across ongoing maintenance projects.
- Ensuring work areas and projects are maintained to the required standards.
- Supporting the successful delivery of newly awarded contracts.
- Working closely with management and the wider team to ensure projects run smoothly.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a landscape maintenance supervisor or leading hand role.
- Strong experience in turf, horticulture, landscaping or grounds maintenance.
- Construction White Card and drivers licence.
- Full Australian Working Rights.
