Domestic Assistant

What the role looks like
You'll visit older clients in their own homes across Brisbane’s Bayside and Redlands areas, including Capalaba and up to Wynnum and surrounding suburbs, providing domestic assistance to help keep their homes clean, comfortable and welcoming. Your duties may include general household cleaning, tidying, laundry and other light domestic tasks that support clients to continue living safely and independently in their own homes.

You'll visit multiple clients throughout the week, working approximately 25 hours across day shifts from Monday to Friday — no nights and no weekends.

You'll be paid for your full shift, including travel time between clients, as well as receiving a per-kilometre allowance for kilometres driven between client homes.

- You're a private cleaner, student, or anyone looking for meaningful, flexible work and can commit to working Monday to Friday,



8:00am–5:00pm, or at least 3 days a week
- You're warm and trustworthy — the kind of person clients look forward to seeing
- You have your own reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (essential for travelling between clients)
- You're happy to work across a broad radius and are willing to travel up to 30 minutes between client locations

You'll need to hold, or be willing to obtain:

- Current National Police Clearance
- Evidence of two doses of COVID vaccination
- Two qualified references and proof of Australian working rights
