Winslow Infrastructure is involved in building Melbourne's vast infrastructure network with a strong portfolio of work in hand and significant pipeline requires a professional, engaged and organised Senior Contracts Administrator who looking to take the next step in their career to be part of shaping the future of civil construction with Winslow! Reporting to the BU Commercial Manager, the Senior Contracts Administrator will provide support and guidance with Work Winning and Delivery teams for all things commercial. This is a fast paced and energetic role that allow you to showcase your exceptional organisational skills that will have you from day to day:
- Assisting Tender and work winning in Head Contract reviews
- Supporting the delivery teams in project establishment
- Provision of clear and strong administration of Contracts in execution,
- Procurement activities in downstream subcontract and supply chain
Your key role responsibilities would be:
Working with small team of dedicated commercial professionals, Work Winning and the wider delivery teams,
the Senior Contracts Administrator will :
- Work with the precontracts team and Commercial Managers, assist in reviewing head contract conditions for compliance and risk identification
- Prepare contract departures and registers for pricing submissions
- Take a lead role for the commercial administration on projects in delivery to ensure compliance and maintenance of Contractual rights and obligations
- Manage variations, EOT, and claims for projects
- Guide delivery teams in all other delivery aspects to ensure project success, including identification of program impacts.
- Manage Procurement activities
- Assist and when required manage monthly cost reporting as required
Here's what we are looking for…
Essential
- Tertiary Qualification in Commerce, Accounting, QS or similar field
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar role
- A sound understanding of Australian construction contacts, contracting principles and practices.
- Sound MS Excel skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a high-pressure environment
- Practical knowledge of cost control techniques
- Ability to problem solve and an ability to make the complex simple
- Ability to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred
- Demonstrated experience in Cost Control within the SMP/Construction industry is desirable
- Experience with construction, Jobpac, Docket book or ERP systems would be an advantage but not essential
