Support at Home Allied Health is a family-owned company founded and run by OTs.

Our team of OTs is proud to provide prompt, compassionate and personalised in-home OT assessment and intervention to Support at Home clients across metropolitan Adelaide and select areas of regional SA, including the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Who We're Looking For!

We’re on the hunt for an OT with experience in community aged care who can support clients across the Fleurieu region, including Victor Harbor, Port Elliot, Encounter Bay, and Goolwa.

This role would ideally suit someone based in the Fleurieu or outer Southern suburbs of Adelaide, with a willingness to travel throughout the region.

What We Offer

As a contractor, you have the flexibility to accept or decline referrals based on what works for you and your lifestyle.

You’ll have the autonomy to shape your own working week around your personal and skilled commitments and goals, including scheduling your own assessments. Report writing can then be completed from the comfort of your own home, at times that suit you.

You’ll also have comprehensive clinical and administrative support behind you, including report templates,



resources and guidance, so you can feel confident (and happy!) in your role.

The hourly rate is $100.

What You'll Be Doing

- Scheduling appointments following receipt of new Support at Home referrals.

- Conducting in-home assessments to evaluate clients' functional abilities in order to develop tailored recommendations to improve clients' functional abilities and independence.

- Evaluating home environments for safety hazards and making recommendations to enhance clients' safety and independence.

- Providing education to clients and their families regarding adaptive strategies and assistive devices and empowering clients to participate actively in their own care.

- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of assessments and interventions.

- Providing comprehensive assessment reports together with corresponding equipment and home modification quotes following completion of assessments.

Essentials...

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.

- Current AHPRA registration.

- Valid Criminal History Check

- Senior first aid and CPR.

- Own vehicle and valid driver's licence.
