At Barefoot Barista in Palm Beach and Currumbin, and Bruce Bar in Currumbin, we’re all about making people feel welcome. Our venues are relaxed, well-loved local spots with loyal regulars, busy services and a happy team who care about what they do.

We’re looking for two experienced hospitality managers with robust bar experience to join us. You’ll love getting to know the regulars, helping your team along and being part of the action when service gets busy.

We take pride in our food, drinks and service, and we’re after people who share that pride and bring a friendly, calm approach to the day.

What you’ll be doing

- Keeping day-to-day service running smoothly across our bar, restaurant and café spaces.

- Leading by example and helping the team build their skills and confidence.

- Making everyone feel welcome, whether it’s their first visit or their usual morning stop.

- Keeping service, presentation and responsible alcohol service standards high.

- Keeping shifts organised and sorting out any customer concerns with warmth and care.

- Staying on top of ordering and stock levels.

- Working with management to recruit and welcome new team members.

- Working closely with management and sharing ideas to make things even better.

A little about you

- You have hospitality management experience, including running a busy bar.

- You’re a supportive people manager who brings out the best in others.

- You love people and enjoy making someone’s day.

- You stay calm,



organised and good-humoured when things get busy.

- You’re comfortable using computers, hospitality management systems and POS software.

- You have a good eye for detail, including ordering and stocktaking.

- You’re happy to roll up your sleeves and lend a hand.

- You hold a current RSA certificate and driver’s licence.

- You have valid Australian working rights, including an appropriate visa if applicable.

What’s on offer

- $80,000–$90,000 per year plus superannuation, with the package negotiated based on your experience and skills.

- 40 hours across four days a week, with flexibility to discuss arrangements for the right person.

- Ideally, a mix of day and evening shifts across the week. One manager will need to be available for at least two nights a week between Thursday and Sunday (when Bruce Bar is open).

- An established, happy team and a welcoming local community.
