Tyre Doctor is a growing Australian-owned tyre and wheel service provider, supporting the mining, civil and transport industries. We’re looking for a motivated Trainee OTR Tyre Fitter who is ready to learn, work hard and build a career with our team.

No OTR tyre fitting experience? That’s okay. We’re looking for the right attitude, a strong focus on safety and someone who is keen to learn.

What your week will look like

This is a Monday to Friday role, giving you a mix of workshop and on-site experience:

- 3 days in the workshop – learning tyre fitting,



inspections, equipment and safe work practices
- 2 days on site – working alongside experienced OTR Tyre Fitters and gaining practical field experience

You’ll learn how to:

- Safely remove and fit OTR tyres
- Inspect tyres and identify damage, wear and potential hazards
- Use tyre fitting tools and equipment safely
- Assist experienced fitters with field service and on-site tyre fitting
- Load, unload and handle tyres and equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop and work area
- Work safely around heavy vehicles and mobile equipment

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who:

- Wants to build a career as an OTR Tyre Fitter
- 2 years LV Tyre Experience
- Is reliable, hardworking and keen to learn
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work
- Has a strong commitment to safety
- Is comfortable with physical work
- Works well as part of a team
- Has good communication skills
- Holds a current driver’s licence
