Data Migration Lead required to support a large migration from Oracle to Cosmos DB for a leading financial services business

Responsibilities:

- Assess and uplift current Oracle to Cosmos DB data migration processes
- Lead data analysis and reconciliation testing
- Manage and resolve migration issues
- Work closely with delivery leads, data engineers, analysts and business stakeholders, providing technical advice

Requirements:

- Proven experience leading data migration projects
- Experience with Oracle and/or relational database migrations.
- Solid data analysis experience.
- Ability to investigate data discrepancies and identify root causes.
- Experience working with technical teams to resolve migration issues.




- Strong understanding of data migration testing, validation and sign-off.
- Experience migrating to Cosmos DB or another NoSQL platform would be beneficial
- Experience with Azure / Microsoft data technologies.
- Experience working with migration scripts, SQL and data analysis tools.
