Wallpaper Gurus is a high-end residential and commercial wallpaper specialist with 116 five-star Google reviews and 100k+ social followers. As a 3rd & 4th generation family business, we prioritize finish quality and site presentation over speed.

We are expanding and seeking EITHER an experienced wallpaper installer OR a skilled trade assistant/painter looking to learn a specialised trade.

Option A — Experienced Wallpaper Installer ($42.00 – $55.00/hr + Super)

• Run jobs start to finish autonomously (traditional paste-the-wall / paste-the-paper).

• Execute accurate surface prep, pattern matching, trimming, hanging, and clean-down.

• Work with luxury wallcovering brands.

Option B — Skilled Trade Assistant / Casual Labourer ($34.00 – $40.00/hr + Super)

• Handle site wall prep, stripping old wallpaper, patching, sanding, and drop sheet setup.

• Paste walls, paste drops accurately, cut drops, and set up pasting tables.

• Help set up equipment, maintain a clean site presentation, and pack up cleanly.





• Receive direct 1-on-1 trade training from master installers to advance into a full installer role over time.

About You

• White Card (General Construction Induction) required.

• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to Helensvale / SEQ job sites.

• Tidy presentation, punctual, reliable, and comfortable working on ladders/at height.

• Background in wallpapering, painting, plastering, gyprocking, or active trade labouring is highly regarded.
