Join Emeco’s fast-paced mining services team and play a key role in keeping our inventory and logistics moving.

We’re looking for a Back Freight & Core Controller to join our team and take ownership of the return flow of goods, back freight and core inventory.

This is a hands-on coordination role where your attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving skills will make a real difference. You’ll work closely with our Distribution Centre, Logistics, Inventory and site teams to ensure returned materials and cores are accurately tracked, processed and returned to the right place at the right time.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Coordinate and process all back freight movements arriving at the Distribution Centre
- Oversee core returns, including identification, inspection and system processing
- Maintain accurate inventory records for cores and returned items across ERP/WMS systems




- Work with customers, sites and internal teams to resolve freight discrepancies, delays and missing items
- Ensure all returns and freight movements are managed in line with company procedures, safety requirements and contractual obligations
- Identify opportunities to improve reverse logistics processes, reduce turnaround times and minimise costs
- Support the wider Warehouse, Logistics and Inventory teams to keep operations running smoothly

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and detail-focused, with the ability to keep things moving in a busy environment.

You’ll ideally have:

- Previous experience in a similar warehousing, logistics or mining-related role
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Experience working with ERP or WMS systems
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) would be highly regarded
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Cert IV in Warehousing Operations would be highly desirable
