Executive Assistant Organisational Performance
Morwell | Part Time (22.8 hours per week)
Fixed Term (Immediate start – 21/03/27) | Band 5A: $42.12
We're looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our Organisational Performance team.
Supporting the General Manager Organisational Performance, you'll play a key role in managing priorities, coordinating complex workflows and ensuring the smooth operation of a busy executive office. Working at the centre of divisional activity, you'll liaise with Councillors, senior leaders, employees and external stakeholders while supporting governance, reporting and strategic priorities.
This opportunity is ideally suited to someone who has previously provided executive support to a senior leader and enjoys a fast-paced environment where initiative, judgement and discretion are highly valued.

What You’ll be Doing
- Providing high-level executive support to the General Manager Organisational Performance
- Managing a complex schedule, correspondence, priorities and workflow for the Office of the General Manager
- Coordinating governance, reporting,
compliance and administrative functions across the division
- Preparing qualified correspondence, reports, presentations and briefings
- Acting as a key liaison between the General Manager, Councillors, the Executive Team and other stakeholders
- Supporting projects, events and business improvement initiatives while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
About You
You are a highly organised and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You have experience providing executive support to senior leaders and understand the importance of anticipating needs, managing competing priorities and maintaining confidentiality.
You build productive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, exercise sound judgement and remain calm under pressure. You take pride in delivering high-quality work and communicating professionally.
Whether you are currently an Executive Assistant or have previously worked in a dedicated executive support role, you bring the initiative, professionalism and attention to detail needed to succeed in this position.
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive support in a complex organisation, preferably Local Council or medium to large organisations
- Well-developed communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability to exercise judgement,
initiative and discretion when managing competing priorities and sensitive matters
- Experience coordinating governance, reporting and administrative processes to achieve quality and timely outcomes
- Highly developed organisational and technology skills, including the effective use of Microsoft Office and corporate systems
