Job Summary
IIQAF Group is seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our hospitality team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering food, beverages, supplies, catering orders, and hospitality products safely and on time while providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate delivery records.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely collect and deliver food, beverages, catering orders, supplies, and hospitality products to customers and designated locations.
- Complete deliveries accurately, efficiently, and within scheduled delivery timeframes.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and use GPS and navigation systems to optimize delivery times.
- Check delivery orders, invoices, receipts, delivery notes, and customer information before departure.
- Ensure food and beverage orders are properly packed, secured, and transported to maintain quality and presentation.
- Handle food and hospitality products carefully during loading, transportation, and unloading.
- Verify orders and obtain customer signatures, delivery confirmations, or electronic proof of delivery when required.
- Provide friendly, professional,
and courteous customer service during every delivery.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when representing the company.
- Protect customer information and maintain confidentiality regarding delivery details and orders.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Australian driver's licence appropriate for the assigned delivery vehicle.
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Food Delivery Driver, Catering Delivery Driver, Van Driver, Courier Driver, Driver, or Hospitality Delivery Driver is preferred.
- Experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, catering, food and beverage, logistics, courier services, or delivery operations is highly desirable.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deliveries and changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a hospitality or logistics team.
- Good knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Willingness to work adaptable shifts, weekends, evenings, public holidays, and peak delivery periods when required.
