On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Policy Officer to contribute to a significant national reform program. Working within a collaborative team, you will support policy development, implementation and stakeholder engagement activities that drive meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to the development and implementation of policy, reform initiatives and projects.
- Undertake policy analysis and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Prepare high-quality briefs, reports, presentations and correspondence.
- Build and maintain productive stakeholder relationships.
- Support and lead consultation and engagement activities.
- Use data and research to inform policy advice and decision-making.
- Exercise sound judgement to manage complex issues and competing priorities.

About You

- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Adaptable, proactive and able to work with limited supervision.
- Collaborative team player with excellent judgement and initiative.

Desirable

- Program governance and/or project planning experience.
- Experience in disability reform, social policy or related sectors.




- Experience supporting complex procurement activities within a government environment.
