Cairns Beaches Psychology is seeking a psychologist on a contract basis in Smithfield, QLD. As a psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions to our diverse client base.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans
- Delivering individual therapy sessions using a range of evidence-based psychological therapies
- Providing clinical support and guidance to clients experiencing a variety of mental health concerns
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care
- Maintaining accurate and detailed client records in accordance with professional standards
What we're looking for
- Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience in providing psychological assessments and interventions in a clinical setting
- Robust clinical skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of client populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and other healthcare providers
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the growth of the team
