Established in 2005, Point Cook Medical Centre is a leading provider of primary healthcare in the area.

We have an exciting vacancy for a dedicated practice nurse and a receptionist for our busy practice an immediate start. The hours are negotiable for this role.

Medical Receptionists

(Employment: FT/PT/Casual) .

Medical Center Opening hours are 8 am-6 pm weekdays and 9:00 am-4 pm on weekends

The role will involve:

- Greeting and interacting with patients face-to-face and over the phone

- Scheduling and managing patient appointments

- Patient billing and processing of payments

- General administrative duties

- Opening and Closing duties

The successful candidate will require:

- Experience in medical reception/administration is essential

- Experience in Paracsoft and Medical Director

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Reliability and a solid work ethic





- Ability to work both independently with initiative; and as part of a team

- Excellent verbal communication skills

- Enthusiastic and positive attitude

- Well presented

- Maintaining confidentiality in all dealings with patient information

- Strong customer service focus

- Confident and energetic

- Ability to build rapport with patients and doctors

- Great team working skills with the ability to self-direct

- CPR certificate (can be done upon accepting the job offer)

- Any other administrative duties as directed by the Practice Manager.
