- Operates a clamp, slip-sheet, or fork sit-down lift truck to unload trailers and palletise floor-loaded merchandise
- Transfers pallets of received merchandise to shipping lanes set up by the warehouse or to other areas of the depot
- Transfer empty pallet stacks within the depot. Clean the area daily.
- RF Scan & Operates Baler Machine
- Operates electric pallet jack to move pallets of received merchandise to shipping lanes or to other areas of the depot
- Wraps and unwraps pallets
- Sorting the pallets and labelling as required (some heavy lifting involved)
- Unloading of floor-loaded containers (some heavy lifting involved)
- Follows proper receiving and general safety and security procedures and standards
- Counts and logs incoming and outgoing pallets. Loading and unloading trailers of pallets
- General upkeep of depot and grounds
- Able to work in a team and can work with minimum supervision
- Must maintain a high level of facility safety, security, and cleanliness
- Assists in other areas when required
- Must be able to work on Saturdays
- Must have ambient warehousing experience and be physically fit
- Must be versatile and keen to work in both Ambient & Chiller and in different departments as per business needs.
Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery
- Education/Training: Higher School Certificate preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Must have a Forklift Licence
- Knowledge/Skills: Basic Computer Skills. Solid Knowledge of Work Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
- Other Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills at all levels
