Insight Pest Solutions is expanding across Australia, and we're now bringing that growth to Sydney. We're looking for a General Pest Technician to join us as a founding member of our brand new Sydney branch, launching in September. This is a genuine opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing national business backed by Canada's largest residential pest control provider, and to help shape what our Sydney team becomes.

Initially, your focus will be supporting our Termite Qualified Technician and the wider branch as we get the Sydney operation up and running, delivering general pest treatments across our targeted service zones. From there, we're committed to investing in your growth: Insight will pay for you to become termite qualified over time, opening the door to termite inspection work, upsell commission, and a broader role within the branch as it scales.

About the Role

You'll be out on the road delivering high-quality general pest control services to residential customers in targeted, tightly clustered zones, while supporting our Termite Qualified Technician and the branch through the Sydney launch. Your day will include:

- Inspect residential properties to identify pest activity, entry points, and conducive conditions

- De-webbing of residential properties

- Deliver safe, effective pest control treatments using approved products and application methods

- Support the branch's Termite Qualified Technician and wider team operations, particularly during the September launch period

- Provide friendly, professional service and clear communication to customers

- Use mobile and reporting tools to record findings and treatments

- Follow WHS, chemical handling, and environmental guidelines at all times

- Work in varied environments including roof voids, subfloors, external perimeters, and outdoor areas

- Maintain equipment, PPE, and vehicle stock to company standards

- Manage daily schedules independently and plan efficient routes within your targeted zone

- Liaise with the branch team regarding job updates, customer needs, and follow-up work

- Educate customers on prevention, treatment plans, and ongoing maintenance

- Safely lift and carry equipment (15kg+)

- Uphold Insight's service standards and represent the brand professionally in the field

Once you're supported through termite qualification, your role will expand to include termite inspections and treatments, with earning potential to match. No two days are the same; you'll be problem-solving, meeting customers,



and working independently while being supported by an experienced team.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings the right attitude and approach, including:

- A current Australian driver's licence

- A Pest Management Technician licence (General Pest)

- A friendly, qualified approach with customers

- Willingness to work in roof voids, subfloors, and outdoor environments

- Strong reliability, motivation, and work ethic

- Ability to work independently and manage your day

- Willingness to travel throughout Sydney as required

- Interest in progressing towards termite qualification as part of your role
