We’re looking for a friendly, practical and reliable person to join us as Caretaker at Camp Eagle Eye.

Set in a peaceful bushland location in Glenreagh, this live onsite role would suit someone who enjoys hands on work, takes pride in keeping a property well maintained, and likes being part of a community focused organisation.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day care of the campgrounds and facilities, helping make sure the site is clean, safe, welcoming and ready for Scout groups and other visitors to enjoy.

This is a part-time 3 month fixed-term contract, with an option to review.

About the role

Your day-to-day work will include:

- Mowing, gardening and general grounds upkeep

- Basic maintenance and repairs

- Cleaning shared facilities and accommodation areas

- Opening, closing and securing the site

- Assisting with bookings and site access

- Coordinating trades and service providers when needed

- Helping ensure the camp is safe and well presented at all times

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:





- Handy, practical and self-motivated

- Comfortable working independently

- Organised and reliable

- Friendly and approachable with visitors and volunteers

- Able to manage a range of tasks across the property

- Committed to safety and high standards

Requirements

- Current Driver Licence

- National Police Check

- Working With Children Check

- First Aid / CPR (or willingness to obtain)

What’s on offer

- Grade 2 (Amusement and Recreation Award)

- $27.08 per hour. 15 hours per week.

- Base salary of $21,122.40 per annum

- Superannuation of $2,534.69

- Live onsite accommodation included
