Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships, in partnership with Wirtgen (a global leader in mobile machine solutions), are seeking a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Mobile Plant Mechanic to join their team.
This is a hands-on chance for someone with a genuine interest in mechanics who enjoys practical work and wants to build a long-term career in the heavy equipment industry.

Key duties
- Fault finding and mechanical repairs
- Servicing and maintenance of mobile plant equipment
- Electrical (12V & 24V) and hydraulic troubleshooting
- Machine preparation and component rebuilds
About you
- Strong interest in mobile plant or heavy vehicle mechanics
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Safety-focused with good work ethic
- Basic computer skills
- Able to obtain a police check
- Driver's licence preferred (not essential)
Additional information
- TAFE completed via block release
- Pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen required
