Key Responsibilities

- Anticipates and attend to the guest's needs and desires immediately.
- Services and cleans allocated rooms to the highest standards within the allocated time
- Replenishes and controls Guest supplies.
- Reports to the Supervisor any maintenance needing attention.
- Follows all Housekeeping policies and procedures to the standard set by the Executive Housekeeper.
- Takes extreme care with personal grooming in order to maintain a consistently high level of professional appearance.
- Informs Housekeeping Office IMMEDIATELY of any unusual, different or abnormal situations seen in or around the Hotel.
- Reports any potential health and safety hazards to the Supervisor.
- Greets Hotel guests in a polite and courteous manner being careful not to confuse friendliness with familiarity.
- Attends monthly departmental communication, training and information meetings.
- Complies with all of the Hotel's standard operational policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Handbook.
- Has a full knowledge of, and practices all of the Hotel's established workplace health and safety guidelines (WH&S;).
- Gives assistance to other departments or outlets when required.
- Carries out other duties as directed by the Executive Housekeeper/Housekeeping Supervisors.
