Joining our Murrell Freight ServicesInterstate TransportTeam, you will be employed asHeavy Vehicle Truck Driver. This permanent full-time role reports directly to the Transport Manager and involves the following duties and responsibilities:

- Safely operate heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport freight to designated locations across interstate routes.
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules to guarantee timely delivery and pickup of goods.
- Assist with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight, ensuring compliance with load restraint regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including logbooks and fuel/toll receipts.
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections, addressing any concerns before departure.
- Follow all road safety rules.




- Collaborate effectively with the transport manager and team members to support our road freight logistics operations.
- Above Award kilometer ratecalculated on actual distance travelled once you have left the yard + Allowances.
- Top of the range equipment with allcleaning and maintenance carried out in-houseregularly.
- Secure andongoing employmentwith weekly pay.
- 24/7 team support and ongoingTraining and Development.

About You

- You have a validMC licenseand a clean driving record. HC licenses will be considered.
- Road train experiencepreferred but not essential.
- Experience in avariety of freight typesand load restraint systems.
- Strong time management skills and a thorough knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Experience or ability in operatingon board reporting technology(tablet).
- Proactive in maintaining vehicle safety and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- A solid focus onsafety and compliancewith NHVAS Mass, Maintenance and Fatigue protocols.
- Applicants based outside the Illawarra region will be considered depending on location.
