Job Description
The Project Officer, Clerk Grade 7/8 at NSW State Emergency Service supports projects that strengthen emergency preparedness and resilience with Aboriginal communities across NSW. Based at State Headquarters in Wollongong, the part time role sits within the Aboriginal People's Engagement Program and combines project coordination, financial monitoring and culturally safe stakeholder work.
The role requires a relevant tertiary qualification in project management, community engagement, business, public administration or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. The recruitment is targeted under Rule 26, with preference given to suitable applicants who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
