The employer separates the cover letter from the online targeted questions. Keep the operational examples out of the cover letter where you plan to use them in a question response, and make sure the resume names the commercial scale of your venue or hospitality work.
- Cover letter outlining how your skills and experience meet the essential requirements, maximum 2 pages
- Responses to 2 targeted questions in the online application, maximum 300 words per answer
The role requires relevant tertiary qualifications in event management or a business-related subject and/or at least five years of experience managing venues and commercial hospitality activities. Applicants must hold a current NSW driver's licence and First Aid and CPR certificates, be able to travel across work locations, and undertake the manual-handling tasks described for heritage sites. Work-right and criminal-record checks also apply.
