Salary Package: $65k - $75k + Super + Bonus

Role Overview

As an Outbound Sales Consultant , you will proactively manage and grow a portfolio of SME customers, driving both retention and revenue growth. On a daily basis, you’ll engage directly with business owners and decision-makers through outbound and inbound calls, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities to provide tailored solutions.

You’ll manage the sales process from lead qualification through to order placement, while leveraging established sales playbooks and structured methodologies to consistently deliver results. This role gives you the opportunity to build strong commercial relationships, increase share of wallet and establish yourself as a trusted advisor to your customers.

Responsibilities

- Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of SME customers, driving retention, loyalty and revenue growth
- Conduct outbound and inbound calls with existing customers to understand their needs and uncover sales opportunities
- Engage directly with business owners and decision-makers to provide tailored solutions
- Manage the complete sales cycle from qualification through to order placement and post-sale follow-up
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to increase share of wallet
- Meet and exceed individual sales, retention and growth targets




- Follow established sales playbooks and structured sales processes to consistently deliver results
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, pipeline and forecasts within CRM and ERP systems
- Work closely with internal sales, product, branch and operations teams to deliver seamless customer solutions
- Identify risks and opportunities within accounts and take proactive action to address them
- Build strong, trust-based customer relationships and become a valued commercial partner

Candidate Profile

- Proven experience in high-volume outbound sales, inside sales, account management, customer retention or customer growth
- Commercially minded and results-driven, with a strong focus on achieving sales and performance targets
- Confident engaging directly with business owners and decision-makers
- Skilled at uncovering customer needs and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell
- Strong communication, negotiation, objection-handling and closing skills
- Highly organised and able to manage a portfolio of customers independently
