We're looking for someonehands-on, mechanically savvy, and self-motivatedto join our team as aStump Grinding Operator.
n
You don't need previous stump grinding experience – we'll provide full training. What matters most is your ability to:

- Work confidently with machinery and tools.
n
- Solve problems and take initiative when working independently.
n
- Be safety-conscious and reliable.
n
- Trusted to provide a professional and efficient service without onsite supervision.
n
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Operating specialised stump grinding machinery.
n
- Working on job sites across Adelaide and surrounding areas.
n
- Representing Austral Tree Services with professionalism and care.
n
- Working around underground services
n
- Organised, careful and methodical to complete daily work.
n
- Complying with all company processes, SOPS and safety standards
n
- Respecting, maintaining and caring for you company fleet and equipment
n
- Demonstrating a keen ability to learn and apply new skills to your job
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
- A mechanical mindset – maybe you've worked with engines, tools, farm machinery, or construction gear.
n
- The ability to work unsupervised and get the job done.
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
n
- Hold a valid Driver's licenceand MR Licence (essential)
n
