Helicopter:

AS350 B2 VH-RDA (Call sign: FB279) FB279 is well equipped with air conditioning, ETM 1000 trend monitoring systems, Bluetooth external gauges for load monitoring, Garmin synthetic vision, and near-recent role equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
n
n
- Fire Fighting Bucket Operations – 150' Line
n
- Aerial Incendiaries Operations – Red Dragon
n
- Aerial Drip Torch Operations
n
- Precision Long Line
n
- Aerial Seeding and Fertiliser Operations (if applicable)
n
- Charter Flights as needed
n
n
Roster:
n
n
- 15 days on, 13 days off
n
n
Compensation:
n
n
- Wage negotiable based on experience and capabilities
n
- Contract length: 4 months with potential for extension
n
n
Requirements:
n
n
- Commercial Pilot Licence (Helicopter) (CPL(H))
n
- Class 1 Medical Certificate
n
- 1500 hours PIC Helicopter
n
- 100 hours on AS350
n
- 500 hours turbine time
n
- Aerial Application (Fire) rating
n
- ASIC, HUET, CRM, DG, Flying the Wire, Bushfire Awareness certifications
n
- Australian Driver's Licence
n
- No accident history in the last 5 years
n
- Proficiency with 150' long line operations
n
- Knowledge of OzRunways and Fire Mapper Enterprise or willingness to learn
n
- R44 endorsement and experience
n
- Aerial Application Rating (IMS seeding/fertilizer operations)
n
- Private Pilot Licence (Aeroplane) (PPL(A))
n
