NDIS Occupational Therapist (Subcontract), Melbourne’s south-east suburbs✨

We are a small, growing NDIS team and we are on the lookout for a confident subcontract Occupational Therapist to jump on board with us.

We service Melbourne, with most of our work across the south east and bayside areas. This role is perfect if you enjoy community based work, value autonomy, and want flexibility while still feeling part of a supportive team.

What you will actually be doing

Your main focus will be writing Functional Capacity Assessments, SIL reports. If you also know your way around Assistive Technology and/or home modification reports, amazing! If not, no stress.

If you have the capacity and interest, there is also the option to take on ongoing therapy input, however this is completely up to you. Report only, therapy only, or a mix of both, you choose. The role flexes around your availability and how you like to work.

You will probably be a good fit if you

- Are a confident and autonomous OT
- Can build rapport with all kinds of people
- Write explicit, awesome, high quality reports and funding applications
- Have community experience, ideally around 2 years, but we are adaptable.
- Have experience working in paediatrics
- Have experience working with adults with psychosocial disabilities, or are keen to

What you will need (Because our lawyer said so)

- Current AHPRA registration
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- Current ABN
- Current driver’s licence and own vehicle
- Own Laptop
- Current Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
