About the role
You will join a professional IT team, working with internal stakeholders, dealerships and external IT teams to keep network services reliable and secure.
This role suits an experienced network support professional or early-career Network Engineer ready to broaden their hands-on skills in an enterprise environment.
Most of the work is day-to-day configuration, troubleshooting and incident resolution across Fortinet firewalls, IPsec VPNs, routing and switching. You will work within established architecture and approved change processes.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot network devices and connectivity.
- Support Fortinet firewall configuration, approved changes and security improvements.
- Configure and troubleshoot IPsec VPNs, routing and switching.
- Diagnose network incidents and work with internal and external IT teams to resolve issues.
- Update network documentation and implement approved changes.
- Assist with scripting, automation and practical process improvements.
What you'll bring
- Practical experience in network support or network engineering in a corporate environment.
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network devices.
- Working knowledge of Fortinet, Juniper or Cisco technologies.
- Experience supporting IPsec VPNs.
- Sound routing and switching fundamentals.
- Clear communication and documentation skills.
- Exposure to scripting or automation is useful, not essential.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or a Fortinet certification are advantageous, not essential.
- A current driver's licence is advantageous.
